Yes it did explain it very easy.However I've always found it easier to put mufflers on easier off the base than,off the base I don't use tools just my hands ( I won't go into that,Just use James's way).I just worked out another easy way on the weekend.I put the bottom clip on then put the bolt on for the bracket (not tight)just to hole it sort of in the right place.Then got a screw driver and pushed the muffler from the bottom up and then just clicked the top clip on.I stood back and thought wow that was a little to easy.So I guess that's the way I'll be doing it from now,but your way works as well.
