this might help ? it looks like it has a rubber sleeve holding the two parts together , but i'm not going to pull mine apart unless i need too .. just hangin' in the shed waiting for the time !!! hope it helps , Dave they were wire ??? wow , no wonder it has a big groove dug into it . learning all the time i guess
