I certainly won't be mowing with it, but yes, I agree, I've seen VC-160's still going strong without intervention after 40 years, and you wont get that out of a newbie... Except this newbie!
I may well never start it, it's a hard call, because I believe mowers deserve to live out there function, however once you loose the 'Never Run' badge, you can't get it back!
