Actually, done right you can actually make more from the parts, not as much with a full NOS mower as with a regular early peice, but it's still possible.

The saddest part is that it's not all the parts either, the engine as one unit, carby seperate, deco seperate, wheels, blade plate and cowls cwould go for sale.

But the guy in question would be likely to take the base to scrap.

For some people it's all about the $$$ and to hell with the history of it all, which with a machine like this is a real shame, as the profit from buying it then selling it off in parts is not much and once it's done, it can't be undone!
