Sorry I've taken so long to reply, I got caught up in other jobs.
I've tried putting fuel into the gap between the crankshaft and casing. It dissappeared within a few seconds. Does this mean the oil seals are stuffed?
I also re-timed it as per Victa's specs, but to no avail.
The ring gaps are on the intake side of the engine.
