1. No, haven't touched the ingintion system.
Replace points and condensor rolleyes

2. The carby has a black vane (It's a G3 carby).
You will go to spare parts and manuals area this forum for information confused

3. By oil seals do you mean the piston rings? Then yes I replaced them, otherwise no didn't spot any other seals on the engine when it was apart. Are there more seals inside the crank case? I didn't pull that apart.
You have two oil seal one on the point side and one on the blade plate side(this one could be your problem) :Wavey:
