The belt tension confirms problem as the High setting on the deck brings a lesser tension on the belt. My springs could be slack too as they would be the originals. When I fit the new belt I will see if I can move the springs 10mm further forward to apply a little more tension. Just means at lowest setting the belt may have more tension, however never use this setting.
Without the manual/parts book, Im not sure if springs would still be avail which leads to next problem of numbers for the sprockets and chain. I will replace the set if I can find some and there appropiate numbers.

I see there is a manual avail in US, which states 481-2202 as the manual/model number and 5hp 26inch riding mower as description., and the pic looks similar to mine? Im not sure of the number, maybe they use a diff number in the states?
