Which front shaft do you mean, is it the one that is under the motor? confused

The oil type is a '00' self levelling grease. woot

The removal of the shafts will require a brass dolly so that you can drive the shaft out. Care has to be taken so that you don't flair the end of the shaft otherwise you will not be able it through the bearing. bigshock

Did you undo the collar on the bearing (it has two grub screws to hold it on the shaft). You will need to turn it to unlock it from the shaft. wink

When removing the shaft you will have to drive it towards the small sprocket side to get it out. devilchilli
