Hi GregR, I have seen Scotty 45's with Briggs and Stratton, Tecumseh and Kirby-Lawsons, but never with a Kawasaki, so I would hazard a guess that it is an after-market exchange.

Decals may prove a harder prob to source; but as regards painting, if you were to remove the side chain case cover and take it to an automotive paint supplier they may be able to colour-match it for you.
However, the paint in the pic does not seem all that bad, give one section a cut and polish.....you may be suprised how good it comes up wink
