I haven't had a problem when using the Tecumseh needle cut down and then used the Tecumseh seat Norm but the time it takes to sell a cheap mower makes them worth more in scrap these days .I see mowers on Gumtree advertised 5 days ago for $100. and are now 16 pages away from a search and mowers that have had minimal use not sell for $50 .
