I have just got an early 24 set up with a PT and as you say they they are a beautiful thing when they fire up easily so I have now decided I will pull the 4 strokes off the 24's I have and set them up with PT's because I have a mountain of them here. I just have to expect that I will end up wasting the best part of a day getting a carby to work on each one but as you say when they run they do make you happy and even though I still have a few F/C motors here I have to accept that they are getting on borrowed time. I just have to get a quantity of 10mm discs cut for the crankshaft weights.
