I picked this up a little while ago mainly with the intention to add to the scrap pile I was taking. I wouldn't normally have bothered (it weighs a tonne). The rear wheels have had bike tyres screwed into them (a common home repair method to SP wheels) which suggests a well used SP system. I plan to attempt a transfer of the engine to another base as I don't see this being viable. I even threw the catcher out. Was that a mistake? The plastics don't feel good quality like the wheel covers and mulch plug. Very hard and toy like.
Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!
