I reckon those mowers are one of the best ever made by Victa. Light as a mower could be, good cut radius, very easy to move around, plenty of power for any job and really durable. Thrashes the four strokes on every practical measure for our conditions.
I think that is almost the last of the extended tank models with the chromed cowl. They went to a plastic cowl extension and then full plastic and they disintegrate.
I have an older model stashed away that’s in nowhere near as good nick as that one. I keep an eye out for a good one but they’ve become like hen’s teeth. A good get!
