I think the best first thing to do is remove the engine and
the clutch flywheel from the clutch drum.
They are held by an interference fit of the drum side of the
clutch to a ball bearing on the flywheel side.
Remove the engine bolts and pull the engine outwards
for release.
That will permit you to start the next stage of the process.
You will have an engine and clutch flywheel (with pads)
released from the mower chassis.
