I didn't go too badly the other month at SCA. I ordered a piece of fuel hose (amongst other parts) click and collect. Got home, found it was powersteering hose. Rang, and she told me 'don't worry, its the same thing.' I said bull, the internal diameter might be ok but external is much thicker.
So I trudged 30 minutes back, jam packed with people, I got the right fuel line, picked up a bottle of coolant concentrate and something else (must have been ATF but can't remember)
Girl was very blunt and p*ssed off when I told her that it was in fact not interchangeable and your manager agrees with me. She deliberately stuffed me around 'trying' to process the refund. Eventually she said 'Fine done' I picked everything up and drove home.
Got home and went, 'S*it, she didn't give me my receipt for the coolant or ATF'.
Then I couldn't actually remember her processing it. She was that intent on annoying me and keeping me waiting, she didn't charge me.
Fair remuneration for a total of 1.5hr of my time.
