Yup, close as it gets, IMHO. The vid I've linked is actually from the recent stage production of 'The Producers'. It's even more over the top than Mel Brooks' original film! Busby Berkeley would approve of that.
This show has had a very curious progression, from a 'film about a play', to a 'play about a play'.

Not to mention his other pisstake films; the other standouts to me [apart from 'The Producers' that is], in no particular order; 'Blazing Saddles' and 'Young Frankenstein'...
