Ummm, just thinking, is it the corks that are worn or some other issue-like the fork itself being worn or the bearing that the fork rides on being stuffed?

i dont know whats worn, its annoying me cos i just wanted to tinker and move it out of the shed and put my energy into Dads one , that's the one that i want to wok on.
i will have a better look in a few days see if i can work out what it is,
