I would probably be the only mug doing conversions like this on the small machines because it is quite a bit of work. I had a number of these bases, usually in good condition because they have done little work, and a number of Briggs motors on bases that were pretty ratty. Then I also had a number of Victa catchers that had damaged front lips that once cut off they fit very well. The whole exercise was a win all round for me but in reality it was a pointless exercise because of the amount of time it takes to do them, but hey it fills in the day and I get satisfaction out of getting things running properly.
