Clover loves to grow in my couch and it will pop up from time to time, but like broadleaf it is really thin and weak looking so it just makes me think the pre-emergent plus more care in general is working well. The Buffalo product above is also a great clover killer.
There is an active ingredient called METSULFURON you can do some researching on. I have not used it but there is enough literature around to give hope. Occasionally I see one or 2 pop up but I just pull out a plug of at least 50mm diameter and 100mm deep then backfill with sand..
