If you could bore and hone them yourself why not. My father in law is a tool maker and has offered to bore a couple of blocks for me for nothing. I’ve thought about doing that and buying a ball/brush hone to have a couple of fresh motors. My 2 PT motors are good runners now so I haven’t bothered. I will probably do it one day just for fun though. Would be good to experience a freshly built PT. An engine shop I chatted to about it recently wants $110 to bore and hone - happy to go 20, 40 or 60 thou over. Not too bad in my opinion but I doubt any money could be made out of this further down the line.
