Hello ODK History Lovers

I was reading the authorised (company) biography of the great Australian industrialist
Sir James Kirby when I found a reference to Victa.

Kirbys, makers of the Kirby-Lauson-Tecumseh 2 and 4 stroke lawnmower engines, were contracted
suppliers of some Victa 2-stroke engine components.

The extract, which I reproduce below, tells somewhat humorously of the manufacture and
quality control of Victa crankshafts:-
