The Catcher on my Victa 2 stroke keeps falling off. I notice that the spring which keeps the back tray down on the catcher has lost some of its tension, can it be re-tensioned or do I need a new spring. If the spring needs to be replaced, is it a standard item or is there perhaps another solution?

Replacing the rear flap spring is not that hard to do as all you need to do is tap the rod out past the spring then place the new one in and then tap the rod back in.

Just make sure that the pop rivets are not loose on the bracket that hold the rod in position.
