Hi all
I have a 160 line trimmer that i got second hand for $70 . I have been using for the last 8 years . I have had to replace throttle cable in that time but for the last few times I have use it it has been near imposable to start and when it does it will only run with the choke on . I would like to put a carby kit in but have been told that part are no longer available .
Can anyone get the kits ? Am I on the right track or does it sound like there might be something else wrong

What I would be checking first is the fuel filter in the tank.

The carby kit will not be that easy to get but I am sure that we will be able to locate it for you as the carby should be a TK type.
