Hello ODK history lovers

The Australian company Deutscher is the un-sung, quiet achiever of Australian
lawnmower making. Commencing business in 1904, HF Deutscher remain a
continuous family owned and operated business to this day. Quite remarkable!

In about the mid-1950s Deutscher started making what were then called
rotary scythes, the UK term that was then used to described rotary action
grass cutting machines. We now know these machines as slasher mowers.

Deutscher has a solid reputation for making rugged mowers for tackling
high grasses.

This brochure, from my collection, is in very good condition.
I date it to the early 1980s when Rover-Scott Bonnar were part of the GWA
Group
. Scott Bonnar had been a long-time distributor of Deutscher products.
