Hi GML,
It makes you wonder why new items like these got dosposed of in the first place. I hope they are of use to you. If not, Gumtree time.

Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!

Hi gml
I don't get it - what folks throw out ...
Has it come to this?!

Are folks taking the concept of the throw-away too far.
Isn't the idea to use the thing before you throw it away.

Cheers

p.s. I suspect Norm and Mowerfreak (and others) will be having puppies as I write.

Hi Cyberjack, what do you mean by this?

gml, you must have a better class of neighbours than I have around here, everything I ever get is well used, and then some. Jack I have just had half a dozen puppies. I just got home from picking up 3 full cranks and 3 powertorques, gotta stop looking at ebay and gumtree. One of the PT's is an electric start that apparently works, not sure what I will do with that one because with the modified carby they start so easily

G'day Norm
That's a good day then. smile

Mowerfreak, I meant the metaphor of a good day and find ...
I didn't mean you were biologically capable ... grin

Cheers
Jack

CyberJack, so you mean we must be flabbergasted/ envious? I have never known what that metaphor actually means and of course I didn't take it literally. I have heard it just didn't know what it applied to. I am quite blown away at that find indeed. It's brand new and operational petrol powered gardening equipment!! shocked

I had a tiller attachment for my 31cc Ryobi Lawn Hornet I found in a rubbish skip at the rear of a mower shop years ago and it had no trouble ploughing through hard soil. Wish I still had it. I noticed the gearing was very low, giving it plenty of torque to handle the task.
