This is my restored 20" Scott Bonnar Supercut Model 17 with the original Mark 10 Villiers 4 stroke motor all in very good condition with lots of TLC put into it.
If you have any idea what it's worth could you please let me know as sadly I have one mower too many.
That's about the nicest Model 17 I've seen in the original restored category, sure I've seen plenty of Hot Rodded units but just not an as built machine from the SB Factory.
Well Done indeed !
Cheers, BB.
I live a 24 Hour lifestyle, but every now and again I seem to fall asleep, well at least that's what my wife tells me.
As much as I love the good ol' "Supercut", I hate to burst your bubble, but it will not sell at the figure you've put it up for.
Sadly the Model 17 will only fetch a small fraction of your asking price regardless of how good it is. The whole Scott Bonnar market is been artificially driven by the Model 45 and nothing else.
Doing up any other Scotty for a profit is just a false economy and there's nothing to be gained from it financially.
Lawnmower restoration is merely done for ones self gratification and not much else. These are never going to be in the classification of XY GTHO's
Cheers, BB.

I have a parts booklet for Model 17, not sure how I obtained it but I know I got it due to me actually having 2x Model 17's. I'm happy to share the file if required.
Cheers, BB.
