I bought a couple of these Victa engine spacers recently and now have a question. I notice that the hole in these spacers is fairly wide and also tapered. This makes me wonder if a special bushing or tapered bolt is required? Can anybody tell me if this is the case? Or can I just use regular straight bolts?

Never noticed the tapered hole but they are all fitted with straight bolts, could have sent you a heap of spacers because I don't fit 4 strokes to Victa bases, I only fit 2 strokes on them

Thanks Norm, Wish I had known that before forking out a small fortune for mine.
I decided to just use straight bolts and all seems fine.

Probably made like that for ease of assembly, basically self aligning on install.

I live a 24 Hour lifestyle, but every now and again I seem to fall asleep, well at least that's what my wife tells me.
