Hello Vmow I guess this is the first modern image recording of a Lawn Patrol fuel can. I am surprised at the good condition of it! I have never seen one.
This is a great addition to our record of the Lawn Patrol.
The description said that the cap has a half pint oil measure attached.
Well I took the cap off mine this morning...all full of expectation Nothing but a plastic seal No idea of date? don't even know the exact date of my mower

Victa schmicta, It's a Boundy Lawn Patrol for me....or maybe a Cox!
Jack I can get you some pictures of cans that I doubt you have ever seen I've got a Pace can from around 1957, a Scott-Bonnar/Flymo, a 1930's lawn mower oil can, and the list goes on!
Also regarding a date on this can, Castrol starting using this logo around 1958, so we can narrow it down to 3 years.
I have also seen many others on Facebook in other peoples collections that will blow your mind!
Hello gents. I bought the petrol can shown above from ozwrences. It was lined with oil and is in great sealed condition and looks great in the middle of my 3 baby LP's. Regards, noileg
Hello Lawn Patrol enthusiasts. The restoration work on grandfather's Lawn Patrol started 2 years ago by sourcing and replacing the electronics. With my engineering brother's help we gave it a very good run and it works a treat. I have attached photos of some work so far and a photo of a non-snorkelled earlier model I also have. I will finish the project mid year and provide photos of the finished project then. Regards, noileg
