MOD & GREENFIELD TECHNICIAN
G'day gml,

Which machine is this? 'Ol Red or 'ol Yella?

I reckon your right, they are very literally Victa items cut shorter to fit.I just had a quick recce of my machines and they alll have a screw type termination at the engine end thus suggesting that could well be cut down from longer cables.

Options:

-I'm not sure if aftermarket Victa throttles from that era are available. If they are it might be a good option

- I'm not sure what's broken on yours but old cycle shops can often supply cables and swage the lead ball termination required. Perhaps yours can be repaired?

- I can give you the throttle assembly off my donor.

Cheers,

I probably have a cable here if you wanted to look, easy enough to modify
