WOW, a restorer's dream lol!! I hope you can resurrect him..
Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!

G'day Paul and M-F Whatever the condition, this one must be saved. The rarest of the 1960's Paces, and one of the last before Pace was axed by its owner, Victa. The Forward is as rare as it is novel. It was the last roto-roller made here ... that's right: a rotary with a rear roller ... and rear catcher! This will be one to follow - as an historically significant AUS lawnmower. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/forum/images/jack/pace/pace_forward_vm.jpg) ---------------------------------- Jack

So do you think it could do 88 mph ?
Cheers, BB.
I live a 24 Hour lifestyle, but every now and again I seem to fall asleep, well at least that's what my wife tells me.

It needs a flux capacitor first, which might be easier than finding a catcher for this Pace mower!!

Here are two other Forwards for reference, note one has a cable to engage drive and the other and mine appear to be fixed in place with a rod?

2 models, Rollermatic and Self Propelled. I wonder what the difference is, a parts diagram would be great to see
