That's an eclectic mix for sure. A bit of an Aladdin's cave. Greens' machines; Qualcast machines; Ransomes Minor MK6; JP Super mower; Pope Power Mower; Scott Bonnar electric; Numerous Atcos; An A-V Everyman; A rare 1970s (?) Toro (or Jacobsen) golf green reel mower; And that beautiful Atco Standard . I hope they are all saved. Many thanks to Ken for the record. ---------------------------------Jack

2017_10_ebay_02.jpg (187.75 KB, 86 downloads) The Standard put Atco on the map. Atco were a pioneer of the 'lightweight' lawnmower. A prize machine. 2017_10_ebay_03.jpg (142.12 KB, 88 downloads) Pope Side-wheel Power Mower.
This one is fitted with the later JAP engine. 2017_10_ebay_04.jpg (153.15 KB, 84 downloads) I thought this was a Tecnico. I now think this is a Breville machine. 2017_10_ebay_05.jpg (181.29 KB, 83 downloads) This is a JP Simplex Power Mower. Often regarded as the 'Rolls-Royce" of lawnmowers - and with justification. A beautifully complex machine. 2017_10_ebay_06.jpg (150.44 KB, 78 downloads) This is a c1950s Atco with the Atco-Villiers engine. 2017_10_ebay_07.jpg (194.06 KB, 80 downloads) This image has the AUS Austral-Villiers alongside that nice Atco Standard. Brilliant. 2017_10_ebay_08.jpg (170.65 KB, 79 downloads) This one depicts a Ransomes Minor MK6 (c1951), a Qualcast Panther (c1950s) and an American golf greens mower (c1970s).

The Atco standard with the fan is a winner!. Is it me or has he gone crazy with the WD40 to ward off rust??

I'd say that they just look better wet than dry and have only recently been doused. Cheers, BB.
