I had to blink hard twice to believe what I was seeing with this Victa hand edger on Ebay. I recently got one thrown in a job lot with a mower. EBAY

Tell him he's dreamin'.
The worlds full of dreamers at one end and lowballers at the other.

^ You could get the most expensive Victa mower in the listings and have change for petrol! That guy who was trying to flog off that early self propelled mower in Adelaide at a similar price level as that rusty old hand edger, still hasn't sold it at less than 1/3 the original price. I suspect he wanted this price all along and would still profit handsomely.
Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!

He plays the game of averages and thinks that eventually some silly sucker will pay his stupid price. Basically he creates his own false economy and works off that. He was the guy that had the $3000 Scott Bonnar Supercut that sold for well under $1000 and it had all that chrome work added to it.
Check out the "white GTS Mustang" he has with the smashed rear catcher that's all gaffa taped up and he carries on like it's the bargain of the century.
Cheers, BB.

There was a dusty but sound looking yellow one with catcher in Perth with a starting price of $40 and no takers for months. Must be no lawns (or Victa lovers) out that way. I would have grabbed it in a second!

There are so many units being built in Perth and its suburbs with no lawns and water is so expensive there are only a few of us left with bores or lots of money that have good lawns and nice gardens. The rest just have a Victas that turns weeds into lawn.
If it don't go its not good.

A great deal of those with a lush lawn would be on the phone to Jim or Bert's Mowing.
