Bruce, I picked up a Talon 4 stroke mower, had trouble starting it. I replaced the Chinese spark plug with a "champion RCJ8", it runs fine now, is that the right plug to use?. These Talons don't rev as hard as the Briggs & Strattons, but i don't care I'm selling it.

gmax, I have not worked on Talon since I stopped doing warranty for them a few years back and at that stage they only just started with the lawnmowers. The plug that you are using should be ok or you could use a champion J19lm.

I sold this piece of junk today for $100, that paid for my Scott Bonnar 45, although I'm not sure what i will do with it. Time for a few drinks & think about it.
