Hi, I'm after an oil pump for a Mcculloch Silver Eagle chainsaw - is there the faintest possibility that I will ever be able to get one? The saw is SE2318avs - I think it is pretty old. Any advice appreciated, thanks.

The chainsaw was made between October 1994 and May 1996. The part number that you require is 224815 and changes to 301304 but I will not know until tomorrow some time if it is available or not. I have already tried one supplier but he does not have one.

Hi Guys Sorry I haven't got back to you before.
Bruce - I'm not quite sure what you mean by the number changing - is it still the same part or does it change depending on what month the machine was made?
Calvin - thanks for looking that out for me. Obviously if I can get a part here in Australia it would be more convenient for me but if that fails I'll get back to you to organise one from you.
Thanks again to you both.

Thanks again to you both. Jenan, I suggest that you get the one that Calvin has as the US price is cheaper than you would get in Australia ($35 + postage ).

Is there some way I can send you a photo of the part I want to make sure it is the same as the one you have? Is yours a new or a used part? Sorry for all the questions but I am very new to this. Jenan, I would suggest that you send lawnmowertec a PM (private message) all you need to do is click on his name to do it.

Hi Bruce I seem to have lost Calvin (maybe I'm just impatient) but was wondering if you could try again to locate this part for me - would be happy to pay the $35 plus postage to you. Jenan
