Hi Guys,

A bloke called me during the week trying to get rid of some mowers. In all I think there are 5 or 6 Victas, a Masport and something else.

He wants to sell them, but I don't have the space for them - so if anyone here is interested, PM me and I can pass on his details.

Please note that I have never met this guy, and have never had any dealings with him, so I can't vouch for either him or his mowers - if you are interested, PM me and I'll pass on his details, and then you can suss him out for yourself.

He was asking $150 for the lot - but I got the feeling you'd probably get them all for about $100.

I don't know for sure but I reckon he will.

When he was first trying to talk me into buying them he wanted $50 each for three of the Victas, but as he went on he kept adding mowers to sweeten the deal, but not reducing the price.

My gut feel is that he would be asking $50 per mower, but you could haggle him down on that, but if you bought the lot, you'd probably get them all for about $100-$125 - he offered me the lot for $150, but I reckon he'd accept less.

For these eight mowers - I reckon $125 would be a bargain, and you might even get them for a bit less - wish I had the space for them.

Tempting but too hard to go travel out there and collect them. My rear patio is already getting worrying, so I think I'll stick to mowers I find only.

Bugger I wished they were closer to me, I'd jump on them quicker than files to a pile of bbq-ed steak.I'd make some money on them.Oh well if someone had the time and space there is money to be made there.
