Hello all,
I have a Craftsman 21" mower with a B&S 120K02-0253-E1 - 03010757. Does anyone know what cubic capacity is the engine please?
It says 6.75 on the engine sticker.

Not an engineer but I assume it something to do with timing and valve duration.

I learnt with some old 2 stroke outboards they just constrict the inlet with a metal ring insert to lower the HP to what they wanted.

Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!

Thanks reminding me to mention that on some engines do have restrictor plates are used much like they do auto racing to keep the horse power down. I don't think they were used on the smaller Briggs engines. I do see them sometimes on the v-twins.
