Nice one, you'll have to come around and let me "take it for a test drive" when you take delivery of it. lol

I've heard of a Holden Sunbird frown
We now have a Holden Freebird smile

I hope you have every enjoyment Freebird!
And it's not too late to put one of the last Victa 2-strokes in the boot.
Production of the Victa 2-stroke ends in a few months.

thanks for comments
sorry no test drivers, not even mechanic when serviced
shame about victa , holden and all our manufacturing being shafted by our government with free trade agreement's.
next to close which has been open over 100 years will be our ship building navel dock yard
at Williamstown.
bet its sold for town houses, god help us in a war if we need a dry-dock for repairs
any wonder chinnese mandarin is being taught in our schools

Sorry to be a wet blanket on the purchase of your new Commodore but that would be one of the last cars I would buy if I was living in Melbourne these days. Good chance your house would be invaded, you bashed and the car stolen. Seems to be the way Melbourne is these days, a daily happening and it seems the only people taking any notice is the people whose home has been invaded. Grubberment doesn't seem to care or they would fix it overnight.

9 times out of 10 there's actually drugs involved so if you don't have anything to do with that scene you'd be pretty safe I'd say.

I live a 24 Hour lifestyle, but every now and again I seem to fall asleep, well at least that's what my wife tells me.

Not so in outer Melbourne ATM, unfortunately. 'Non-Reflective' goblins of African origin are pulling off home invasions etc with virtual impunity, thanks largely to an impotent ALP gov't.

Several folk I'm acquainted with in Law Enforcement say that it's only a matter of time until the game-changer event occurs - that a householder will have their defensive tactics sorted, and one or more of the goblins will depart the scene in a body bag.

Cheers,
Gadge

There is a long standing politically correct left wing driven refusal to heed the lessons from the 1970s in being selective on the quality of would be emigrants to these shores.
We continue to play dumping ground for other countries' undesirable element.
These ones in particular have no affinity whatsoever to this land and see it purely as an opportunity to indulge their criminal ways. The only solution is instantaneous removal care o Peter Dutton and reform to our absurd legal processes that seem to favour allowing them to remain here as a liability to our civilised society.
Melbourne's leftist bent and sick obssesion with compassion to these unwanted and unreformable recidivists, doesn't help.

Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!

Another favourite in that line, is to refer to non-ferrous metals as 'Non-Ferocious'. grin
