Well got another mower finished I had a heap of leftover bits and
pieces and had to weld up a new engine mount as I only had the two sides to work with over all it turned out ok

Looks good, not to bad for a bitsa.

Looks fantastic with the blue hammertone.

I totally love this one.
This colour harks back to the original Bonmow - a sort of tribute.

That's a pretty common colour in machinery as it's "Pacific Machinery Blue" which is the colour that the Model 45 Lawn Kings were painted in. If you look through machinery shops you'll be surprised how many items are painted this colour.

Regardless I think it's a better colour than the greens that SB used, especially when the reel is red and a few other shiny bits are added as bling.

They certainly stand out from the crowd don't they ?

Ive got a 14" SB that my wife wants so when I restore it, she wants it to be red lol I might paint is red metal flake
