I'm a bus and coach nut and was surprised to see Dana Spicer mentioned on a mower forum. They developed one of the first automatic transmissions for American transit buses. The GM and Flxible New Look buses used a single speed Dana Spicer torque converter transmission with a lock up function that acted as the "second gear". Fancy their products being applied all the way down to a ride on. I'd like to see other commercial vehicle transmission makers like ZF, Voith or Allison doing that.
Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!
