Hi All,
Just a brief intro. I just picked up my first SB cylinder mower today, for the princely sum of $50. Always wanted one, and this mower looked like a good starting point. It appears to be in reasonable condition, 17 inch model, however the engine doesn't run. I don't believe it will take much to get it going. Pictures to follow.

I'm looking to fully restore it. Not new to turning spanners, as I'm a qualified aviation repair tech, just new to SB mowers.

Looks like a wonderful forum. Thanks for letting me join.

Great to have an aviation tech on board and at least you'll be able to teach us how to make our mowers fly.
