G'day gml
I feel this is one only Bruce can answer. Perhaps he has some hints for a quicker experience.
I do feel user interfaces are all important.

Couldn't agree with you more on that issue.
I live a 24 Hour lifestyle, but every now and again I seem to fall asleep, well at least that's what my wife tells me.

It used to be my first resort place to find parts but since the site change it is now my last resort. It is cumbersome and slow and even when it finally all loads it is hard to use so I just go straight to eBay these days.

It may be a problem with the browser, are you using motzilla Firefox, which I think is the preferred search engine.

no its a problem with the site, to difficult, to much mucking around to place order, i buy online constantly and have never come across a parts site that is so difficult to buy from, and when you choose express post they dont post for 2/3 days,i think best i find another source

i just went through it with Bruce he is a "patient man"but all said and done i think it is very slow and for me painfull, cheer's You need to be specific in what you are saying about the site so that we can look at it. Here are some ways to find parts: - 1. If you are looking for parts and need parts lookup go HERE for these Brands: Briggs & Stratton, Briggs & Stratton Yard Power (formerly Murray), Ferris, Kawasaki Engine, Kohler Engine, Liquid Combustion Technology, Poulan / Weed Eater, Simplicity, Snapper, Subaru Industrial Power, Tecumseh Power Company, Victa, Walbro
- 2.If you have the model of a machine then just place it into the search box and click search and everything that we have for that model should come up. If not it is just an email to get it loaded which usually only takes about 90 minutes because of all the information that is required to make the search easier.
- 3. If you have a part number then use the search box without spaces or dashes and if it is on the site it will come up.
- 4. You can also use the Categories box or Brand reference box to find parts but this could take some time going through it because of the amount of spare parts listed on the site.
- 5. If Parts list not in the parts lookup then you go Spare Parts Help
- 6. Then you have the option of live chat which usually operates during the day and after normal working hours. You use this if you can't find something. This feature will accept file exchange (like parts List) and images. Also note that the live chat has a knowledge base with a search bar which is very helpful as well with parts list and images that can be viewed without having to go into chat.
Please note that we are adding product at the rate of 1,000 per month now so your research prior to looking is needed buy using the items listed above. Note that we are in the process of adding product to ebay as well but that is at a very slow rate and we have found that trying to locate items there is harder than our site but that is upto the individual. We welcome any recommendations to make things better but no one has really complained about that many issues. As to the site being slow I have only experienced that when google is crawling the site which happened last week for a few hours and once they stopped crawling the site was at normal speed.
