Has anybody seen one of these?
Grasshopper reel mower, I have seen the spin cut one but not this one.
It is for sale somewhere in the Brisbane area, the chap who sent the
pictures won't say where he might want it for himself

2016 has been a very fruitful year for finding vintage mowers.
I have been looking for a photo record of these for years.
This is the first one that has come up.

This one is missing the tank, and the catcher mounts at the front.



Grasshopper were making rotaries before Victa.
They are extremely important to vintage mower history.
I really hope this one is saved and we can get a few
more photos to record it.

The Grasshopper is safe and sound in our shed waiting to get back into operational condition.
CyberJack has done a terrific job in compiling a story on the Grasshopper reel mower. It's well worth reading.
