Hi Bruce Thannks for that scan I do have that scan myself but I advertised the same disc and was taken to task for calling it a Rotomo disc.. As the Victa Green Dealer parts list is blank inthat area as regards the discs form 1055 to 1960 it is hard to know . but I think we have all agreed to agree now that the Rotomo did in fact use that disc known as the 9B many thanks Bruce for the input Joe

Hi all It seems I was correct to call a Model 9B disc as aRotomo disc. / The person who queried my statement has now conceded and victory is mine to enjoy.

Thanks DeeJay I like to be rightnow and then. The early history of the Victa parts is very much hit and miss with so many tycoons having had their mitts on the Victa buisness over the years. . They are not to intrested in the past............ only moving on and making a good dollar . I suppose there is not much wrong with that either Cheers Joe

Joe, someone in authority must have had the opportunity to do just that, and record all the early history, but at the time, probably could'nt be bothered.....What a bloody shame.!! Joe, it's guys like you that are keepin' the dream alive....as turncarby would say.....z00m z00m.....Kindest Regards, Darryl

The problem as I see it is that at the time is was not history, . Aint thst the case. . They just kept on churning out the mowers and making quotas and margins . Its like going out to sea fishing in a small boat........ You have to have look back over your shoulder now and then to see where you have come from ..... Cheers all Joe

Joe, you're right there, at the time it was'nt history.....But, luckily for us, some people in very large companies kept diaries and took heaps of photos that we rely on today for restorations and repair. What I'm saying is, that it is a pity that there was'nt more of them. Kindest Regards, Darryl
