Hi bruce
i have rebuild a model 6 sheerline that just wont fire
a list of things have been done to it

[list]
[*]NEW SEALS [*]NEW BRAINGS [*] NEW GASETS
the coil points condenser where taken out of a working mower heaps of spark bright blue
carb was taken from another working mower heaps of fuel fuel is a week old
so here i sit trying to work why it wont start banghead

Will it show any sign of firing at all?

You did put the correct size seal in the bottom did you?

You are not flooding the engine are you?

Have you tried turning the fuel off to start it?

Need more information. cheers2

Hi bruce

Yes you can feel it fire when i try and start it and see a buff of smoke whe u try and start it.

the top and bottom seals are in the right way.

No sign of it flooding

and yes have tryed this and still nothing banghead
