Looks good, but will it cut low enough? the tornado's have a longer crankshaft, you might find the blades sitting too high up in the pan to get a nice low clean cut.

thanks for setting me straight on the shaft length.
so i have put all that effort into making a "claytons" mower.
I recon with a bit of juggling i will put a tornado motor on the tornado base and put the keystart engine on another mower.
and i thought i was making a flash mower.
its the thought that counts i suppose
i used rustoleum paint. good rust proofing properties i read on the can (no screwdriver required for application).
one thing with the tornadoes i have found is that the axles and wheel bearings corrode quickly so the wheels stop or are hard to turn? design fault?
pretty flimsy mower for my liking
