can you help me out with info about my Acto Mower I have just found.

I have worked out that it is a 1954 model with 14inch cut, but on the brass tag it also has "N ME". What does this mean?
Also what ratio of oil to fuel should this mower run?
What type of two stroke oil and fuel should I run in it.

As per the manual in the parts list and manuals area of this forum it suggest that you use 1/2 pint of Castrol XL (S.A.E 30) to 10 pints of petrol. If you run at 25 to 1 that should be ok.

As to the tag I am unable to help with that as I have not come across that before.

I have one of the 14" Atco mowers in my workshop that I have had for a long time also a 20" Atco.

I have got the old girl running but the fuel line from the tank to the carb needs to be relaced. It screws to the stop [Censored] at the tank end and has a banjo fitting at the cab end with a builtin fuel filter.
Would it be possible to obtain a replacement?

Also how do I go about getting work shop manual?

Any idea of the value of this old girl in good runing condition?

We have information on the 1458 model which is a 4/stroke motor but I am unable to locate the 1454 model you are talking about. Can you post a picture of the mower so I can look at it.

I also have parts list an manuals for the 2 stroke motors (villiers).

just got around to attaching a couple of pics of my 1454 Atco. All I have done is give it a good clean up and replace the fuel line. Also had to install a fuel filter as I kept getting grit from the steal fuel tank in to the carby. It does travel quit quickly across the lawn. Still has the original spark plug.
