I picked up two mowers from an old friend earlier in the year



The Pathfinder uses the Villiers Midget Mk2 engine on a retooled older Pace base, I have been told that the Pathfinder was used in name to supply Myer department stores.



The previous owner who bought both mowers new had turned the magneto around to avoid the plug lead burning on the exhaust, this meant that the lead now exited at the front of the mower and ran around past the carby to the plug. A lot of effort for not much gain, all put back around the right way now and I solved the burning issue by looping the lead up under the fuel tank.







Apart from the magneto it just required a fuel tank flush and a carby clean to have it back in running order
