Hi everybody my good friend Wilko the other day put me onto a Scott Bonnar that was over in Perth.Ever since that I can't get it out of my mind (thanks Wilko). So I have to ask if there is any ODK members in Perth that would be able to pick it up?It's in Maddington. Now I haven't purchased it and I still have to see what the freight cost are. That alone might scare the pants off me.So I'm just testing the waters as to whether it will work out.
It's a model I don't have and haven't seen one and would love to get it.
I would never forgive myself if I didn't at least look into it.
Thanks All.

You have one advantage bringing something from Perth Blumby in that many smaller truckies are always looking for backloads.

Just search "backload from Perth." You will find companies that specialise in it.

Wow ouch, not going to well so far.Cheapest I have is at $275.Would like to find something better than that.Although at that price I don't need to find someone to pick it up,but I'm not sure it's worth that kind of money.Rare and hard to find, but that's more than it's worth.

That's the problem the want and the need is there but $275 is a lot of freight.

try truckit.net

I've had some reasonable quotes from WA to NSW on this site. To get the most replies don't enter a price range, leave that field blank.

Try talking to a truckie directly. I've ask a few I've seen at work about it. they can put you on to another truckie who can if they don't..
Cash & no hassle getting it was all I had to do..

HI Blumbly
Have just read your post, I live in Armadale which is not far from Maddington and I am often in that area. If you find cost effective transport and the mower is still available I could pick it up for you if you want.

Regards.

Oh thanks exfarmer as that might be a better way as it seems to add to the cost if they have to do it.
If you picked it up could you but it into a box please?

Hi Blumbly
No problem I wonder if I was to strap it on a small pallet if it would be better than a box.
Sorry its taken a while to answer but I have been away and am off again for just over a week at the beginning of next month, returning home on the 10th and should be staying home then for a while then.

Regards
Andy
