Hello ODK History Lovers
Rover Mowers was a Queensland icon for lawnmowers in its halcyon days.
Yet little history has been recorded about the founder and the early models.

This is a short - and incomplete - record for the Rover DeLuxe, introduced for
the 1963 lawnmowing season. This was an important year for Rover; in that it
standardized the Rover Blue colour for the range, and introduced its new diamond
shaped metal nameplate
. Most importantly, it introduced one of the best multi-
segment height adjusters
on the market - an adjuster it would use for decades.

The following are early 2016 auction photos.
The mower appears to be original (except the later trip-release starter)
Note the 'Tip to Empty' grass catcher and the new 'diamond' Rover badge.
