Yep.........

how can i order parts via this forum ???

I'm after some decals from a newer one to put on when finished.....
also
to remove the front bonet off the xc, do i first have to !!!

1, remove steering wheel.
2, remove the 4 bolts from under the chassis
3, then assuming it will lift off or is there more to undo ???

Bill, Just food for thought......
If the seat is in good nick, why not try centre-popping the broken studs, drill, soak with a penetrating oil and use an "Easy-Out"....Once the oil has had time to soak right in, they sometimes remove quite easily..... Might save you the price of a new seat. wink

Bill,

I agree with deejay66 about trying to get the bolts out first before looking for a second hand or new seat as it could be expensive.

As to ordering parts just send a PM to me and I can quote pricing and if you are happy with it all you need to do is click the paypal buy now button at the top of the forum. cheers2

Bill, They come in different sizes,(to suit the size of the stud you are removing)and a metal high speed twist drill to suit the "Easy-Out" you plan to use. These are available at any good hardware or automotive shop. To use,you center pop the stud, drill to a sufficient depth, wind in the "Easy-Out" ie. the "Easy-Out" winds in the opposite direction to that of the thread. You continue winding it in with a small spanner until it will finally turn the stud out of thread......Easy!! grin
